Talvi kaupunkilomalle Tanskan pääkaupunkiin, Kööpenhaminaan!
Nyt tammikuussa on edessä vuoden 2017 ensimmäinen ulkomaanmatka. Viime reissusta onkin aikaa. Nimittäin viime kesän Ranskan kierros. Joulukuussa oli tarkoitus mennä kiertelemään Keski-Euroopan joulutoreja. Mutta se matka jäi sairastamisen takia. Joten nyt onkin intoa lähteä matkalle pitkästä aikaa! En olekaan ennen käynyt Kööpenhamissa, korkea aika jo. Ja mitä olen tähän mennessä Köpiksestä lueskellut ja katsonut kuvia, niin en malta odottaa! <3
Winter city break in the Danish capital, Copenhagen!
The first trip abroad this year, now in January. After a long time. Namely, my last trip was last summer's tour of France. In December, I had planned to go on a tour of Central Europe Christmas markets. But I missed it due to illness. So now I am super excited to go on a trip! Too long a time already. I haven't visited before in Copenhagen, high time already! And what I've been reading so far about Copenhagen and found pictures, so I can't wait to get there! <3
Menen viikonloppumatkalle talviseen Kööpenhaminaan. Nyt perjantaista sunnuntaihin. Kaksi yötä ja kolme päivää riittää varmasti ensimmäiselle Köpiksen reissulle. Matkustan yksin. Tarkoituksena fiilistellä kaupunkia, käydä kaupoilla ja viettää aikaa kahviloissa. Joitain nähtävyyksiäkin ajattelin käydä katsomassa.
Matkaa varten olen hakenut ja saanut kivasti ideoita niin Pinterestin kuin Instagramin maailmasta. Ne ovat molemmat nykypäivänä loistava paikka saada matkavinkkejä (paikallisilta tai muilta turisteilta). Onko teillä tästä kokemusta? Olen muun muassa laittanut ylös ruokapaikkoja ja kauppoja joissa voisin vierailla.
I'm going for a weekend getaway to wintry Copenhagen. Now Friday to Sunday. Two nights and three days is enough certainly for the first trip to Copenhagen. I'm going on a trip alone. The purpose of the trip is; feel this city, to visit the shops and spend time in cafes. And I thought to check out some of the attractions.
For the trip, I seek for and received a nice ideas from Pinterest and Instagram. They are both today a great place to get travel tips (from local or from other tourists). Do you have any experience of this? I typed up, for example, eateries and shops where I could visit.
Olen kuullut ja lukenut, että Kööpenhamina on kallis matkakohde. Niin sesonkiaikaan kuin muulloinkin. Onneksi se on kuitenkin lähellä Suomea, joten lentoliput eivät ole kalliit. Niin voikin maksaa hieman enemmän hotellista tms. Ravintoloita löytyy eri hintaisia eri budjetille. Suosituimmat nähtävyydet ovat ilmaisia pääosin. Ja jokainen voi päättää itse miten paljon kuluttaa rahaa shoppailuun. Kaupoissa riittää valikoimaa.

I've heard and read that Copenhagen is an expensive destination. During high season as at other times. Fortunately, it's close to Finland, so the flight tickets aren't expensive. So can pay a little more from the hotel, for example. Restaurants can be found in different prices in different budget. The most popular attractions are free of charge mainly. And everyone can decide how much to spend for shopping. Shops can be found a lot of.
What kind of experience do you have from Copenhagen? All tips are welcome :-)
Talvinen matka tiedossa ja Tanskan kylmimpään aikaan. Asteita on luvattu plussan puolelle. Sekä niin pilvistä, sadetta kuin aurinkoakin :-D. Tanskan vaihteleva sää tosiaan. Plussa-asteista huolimatta Kööpenhaminassa on varmasti kylmää ja tuulista. Sijaitseehan kaupunki saarella, meren ääressä. Pitää pakata lämpimästi, ja muistaa kerrospukeutuminen. Olen lähdössä reissuun käsimatkatavaroin. Joten pitää hillitä shoppailua tai jättää jo lähtiessä riittävästi laukkuun tilaa ostoksille ;-)
Winter's Journey in front and the coldest time of Denmark. Weather has been promised to be plus-side. As well as clouds, rain than sun :-D. Truly, Denmark is changeable weather! Despite the degrees of Copenhagen is sure to be cold and windy. Because the city is located on the island, front of the sea. Need to pack warm, and remember layering. I booked the trip only hand baggage. So I need to leave enough room in my bag for shoppings! ;-)
Uudessa maassa/ kohteessa haluan:
Kokeilla paikallista ruokaa, käydä suosituimmilla nähtävyyksillä, mennä katsomaan kaupungin siluettia jostakin korkeammalta (näköalapaikasta), testata kyseisen maan kebabia(!), ostaa matkamuistoja (ainakin postikortit ja magneetit :-D), katsoa auringonnousua/-laskua, nauttia drinkin (tai viinilasillisen)..
Mitä erityisesti odotan Tanskalta ja Kööpenhaminalta:
Tanskalaista designia (hyviä löytöjä & ostoksia), upeaa arkkitehtuuria ja värikkäitä taloja, herkullista ruokaa..
Tanska on erityisesti tunnettu:
Ystävälliset ihmiset ja hygge.
Hygge = kotoisuus, mukavuus, nautinto. Se on tanskalaisten oma käsite ja elämäntapa. Hyvän olon kokemus ja lämmin tunnelma. Suomen kielessä ei ole sanaa hyggelle. Ehkä lähimpänä on kodikkuus ja rentous.
In a new country I want to:
Try the local cuisine, visit popular attractions, go and see the city skyline from a higher (view point), to test kebab (!), buy souvenirs (at least postcards and magnets :-D), watch the sunrise / sunset, enjoy a drink (or a glass of wine) ..
What I especially looking for Denmark and Copenhagen:
Danish design (good bargains & shopping), magnificent architecture and colorful houses, delicious food ..
Denmark is specially well-known:
Friendly people and hygge. Hygge = intimacy, comfort, pleasure. It's a Danish own concept and way of life. The feel-good experience and a warm ambience. Finnish language has no word for hygge. Perhaps the closest is the coziness and relaxation.
Kööpenhamina on kompaktin kokoinen kaupunki. Kävellen saa helposti liikuttua ja tutustuttua kaupunkiin. Tosin saatan ostaa myös julkisen liikenteen kertalippuja. Koska on talvi ja kylmä, niin voi olla että kauemmas menisi mielummin julkisella kävelyn sijaan. Lentokenttä matkat menee junalla.
Luettuani Kööpenhaminasta - olen jo satavarma että haluan sinne toisen kerran, kevät/-kesä aikaan. Tällöin vuokrata pyörän ja ajella kaupungilla ympäriinsä. Pysähtyä johonkin vihreään puistoon piknikille. Illalla suunnistaa tunnelmalliseen kanaalinrantaan. Istua terassille ja ihailla auringonlaskua. Unohtamatta katuruoan nauttimista!
Mutta iloitaan nyt ensin talvisesta Kööpenhaminasta. Kaunis varmasti sekin! To-do-list: Chillata, syödä ja ehkä hieman shopatakin! :-)
Copenhagen is a compact city. On foot can easily be moved and get to know the city. Though I might also buy single tickets for public transport. Since it is winter and cold, it may be nicer to go longer trips by public. Airport trips going by train.
After reading about Copenhagen - I'm already a hundred sure that I want to get there a second time, for Spring / -Summer time. In this case, rent a bike and ride around town. Stop off at one of the green park for a picnic. In the evening, go to atmospheric canal bank. Sit on the terrace and admire the sunset. Not to forget the street food!
But now first wintry, and certainly beautiful Copenhagen! On my To-do-list: Chill, eat and maybe a slightly to shop! :-)

Ps. In January, I have developed a habit to go abroad to celebrate a birthday. Almost a tradition already, in fact now is the second year, heh ;-) Last year I was in Warsaw, Poland. Post about it here and here. I believe that I have also this year a great birthday trip in Copenhagen this time.
