In Town with my Olympus

Olin yhtenä kesäisenä lauantaipäivänä kiertelemässä Helsingin keskustassa. Nautin auringosta ja lämpimästä säästä. Kaverina mukana oli Olympuksen kamerani. PEN E-PL7 on ollut käytössä minulla nyt päälle vuoden verran. En voisi olla tyytyväisempi siihen. Loistava matkakaveri kokonsakin takia. Ja miten tyylikäs se on ulkoasultaan! Hienosti sopii Tuomiokirkon pylväiden edustalle? :-)

// On a sunny Saturday day I was in the center of Helsinki. I enjoy the sun and warm weather. My Olympus camera was with me in town. I have been using PEN E-PL7 now more than a year. Mukana tietysti aurinkolasit silmiä suojaamassa. Kesällä tykkään käyttää värikkäitä laseja enemmän kuin muuten. Sekä myös evästä. Tällä kertaa kookos proteiinipatukka. Valitsen nykyään kaikessa mahdollisessa kookosta jos on tarjolla :-D

// Included, of course, sunglasses to protect the eyes. In the summer I like to wear colorful sunnies more than otherwise. As well as a snack. This time, the coconut protein bar. Nowadays I often choose coconut if it's available :-D 

Olen miettinyt josko ostaisin Olympuksen kameraani uuden objektiivin. Olen käyttänyt ainoastaan sen mukana tullutta M.Zuiko 14-42/3.5-5.6 EZ -objektiivia. Olisi loistavaa kuulla vinkkejä hyvistä objektiiveista?!

Yksi varteenotettava vaihtoehto alkuun on ainakin laajakulma objektiivi. Toinen on taas valovoimainen objektiivi. Jolla "kuvauskohde" erottuu taustasta, jolloin tausta on sumeampi. Pitäisi perehtyä tarkemmin näihin kamera- ja objektiivi asioihin.. Heti kun on vain aikaa :-)

One option to consider is a wide-angle lens. The second is luminous lens. Which "the subject" is distinguished from its background so that the background is more fuzzy. Need to read more about these things when I only have time :-) 

Midsummer in the Baltic Countries

Tässä valokuvapäiväkirjaa juhannuksestani Baltian maissa. Täällä kerroin matkasuunnitelmista tarkemmin. Lämpöä ja aurinkoa riitti, enemmän kuin saattoi odottaakaan. Nimittäin koko matkan ajan oli päälle 30 astetta lämmintä - varjossa. Eli auringossa oli varmasti yli 40, huh! Nautimme lomasta Baltiassa niin Riikassa kuin Vilnassakin. Erilainen juhannus tällä kertaa. Helteiden takia tuli tehtyä odottamaton visiitti myös merenrantakaupunki Jurmalaan Latviassa. Oli pakko päästä mereen uimaan ja vilvoittelemaan! Eikä juhannus olisi tietty mitään ilman rantaa ja uimista. Ensin oli vaan ongelmana löytää uimapuku kaupungista, jossa juhannuksen vuoksi kaikki liikkeet olivat kiinni.

Helteen lisäksi mieleeni jäi reissusta erityisesti kaupunkien upea arkkitehtuuri ja paikallinen ruoka. Tehdyt ostokset keskittyivät tällä kertaa pääasiassa vain juoma- ja ruokapuoleen ;-) Kuvia kertyi tuhottomasti matkan aikana. Joka tien kulmasta tuntui löytyvän kuvattavaa :-D Postattavaa riittää tulevaisuudessa ainakin, heh. Oli hieman rankka mutta mahtava matka ♥  Kiitokset matkaseurallekin siitä. Voin hyvin kuvitella eksyväni toistekin Baltian reissulle. Sillä se sijaitsee kätevästi Suomen lähellä. Kenties seuraava matka sitten hieman viileämpänä ajanjaksona! :-D

// Here is a photo diary from my midsummer in the Baltic countries. I told here about the travel plans. The warmth and the sun was enough, more than could be expected. Namely, the whole trip was on top of 30 degrees warm - in the shadow. The sun must have been more than 40, huh! We enjoyed the holiday in the Baltic countries both in Riga as in Vilnius. Midsummer was really different this time. Due to the hot weather we had to make an unexpected visit to the seaside town of Jurmala in Latvia. Had to get to the sea to swim and cool off! And Midsummer would be nothing without a certain beach and swimming. First, there was a problem to find a swimsuit because all the shops were closed due to Midsummer.

The trip left to my mind the heat and especially the cities stunning architecture and local food. Shopping was done mostly only open-air markets and restaurants ;-) I took a lot of photographs during the trip. Each side of the streets was more and more beautiful to photograph. A lot of posts known, therefore, in the future. It was a little tough but spectacular journey ♥ Also thanks for the traveling companions. I can well imagine on going again in the Baltic trip. It is conveniently located close to Finland. Perhaps the next trip a slightly cooler period! :-D

Zara - Summer Shopping Inspiration

Kävin töiden jälkeen yhtenä päivänä pitkästä aikaa Zarassa. Halusin mennä vilkaisemaan valikoimaa sekä samalla hakea hieman inspiraatiota pukeutumiseen seuraaville lomamatkoille.

Tämän hetken suosituimpia kesävaatteita taitavat olla kevyet bomberit ja laskostetut midi hameet (pleated midi skirt). Suosiossa ovat etenkin vaaleat ja hempeät pastelliset värit. Sovittelin muutamia vaatteita ja jotain päätyi kassallekin asti. Myöhemmin varmasti asukuvia ostoksista.

The current most popular summer clothes are probably light bomber and pleated midi skirts. Most popular are light and sweet pastel colors. I fitted a few clothes and something I bought. Later I certainly show you guys some outfit pics.
